CB/CIB provides enterprise financial services through the Vantage (CEO) platform. Its subteam, Move Money Journey, drives the user experience for various payment types, focusing on creating, approving, and managing payments. As the lead designer for Wires within Move Money Journey, I develop features and oversee the end-to-end Wires experience. I collaborate closely with Product, Technology, and QA teams while partnering internally with UXR, Pioneer (design standards, patterns, and API), Content, and Accessibility. Before leading Wires, I worked on Wachovia product conversions, designed features for Payment Manager, Virtual Cards, Secure Validation, and other products, established a pattern library, enhanced Mobile Sign-on with BioAuth, and led key initiatives to improve user experience and system efficiency. Projects follow an iterative Agile process, ensuring timely completion with optional UXR validations. Discovery and UXR activities are conducted based on priorities and schedules. Beyond my core design work, I mentor junior and peer designers by reviewing their design and providing guidance. I also contribute ideas to leadership, exploring opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Quicken Health was an innovative consumer medical financial application that enabled users to download their insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOB) information to track medical expenses and manage health records. As a junior designer on the Quicken Health team, I supported two lead designers across medical finance and health records. The product was developed through rigorous user research, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and validated through user testing. My contributions included leading feature design developments and completing end-to-end design, which were instrumental in the product’s successful launch.

Lotus, acquired by IBM in 1995, was known for its enterprise solutions supporting email, approvals, community boards, and HR. As a web designer on the IBM consulting team, I customized Lotus products for various projects, including the development of intranet and extranet systems for large and mid-sized clients such as LG Chemical and Hyosung, as well as the creation of an Application Service Provider (ASP) system for KT. I led visual design efforts and provided timely design assets to development teams, ensuring the successful completion of projects and client satisfaction. In addition to my design responsibilities, I also managed on-site designers from vendors development teams, overseeing their work to maintain consistency and quality across projects. .1999 - 2001: Web Designer on IBM Consulting Team
